Symptoms

DHCPv6 packet may be dropped by a device after the DHCP relay if the client provided hop limit is 1.

Impact

Loss of DHCPv6 service.

Conditions

DHCPv6 Relay configured on the BIG-IP.

Workaround

There is no workaround at this time.

Fix Information

Configurable hop limit over-ride capabilities provided for client sent DHCPv6 packets.
