Symptoms

The f5.ldap iApp posts an error and fails to deploy when the user enters a monitor password containing the '$' (dollar/peso currency) character.

Impact

iApp does not deploy.

Conditions

LDAP monitor password contains '$'.

Workaround

There are two workaround: -- Create the monitor prior to deploying the iApp, and then select it from a dropdown list in the iApp to deploy. -- The iApp deploys normally for passwords that do not contain $ characters.

Fix Information

This version supports the use of monitor passwords containing '$' in the f5.ldap iApp template.
