Opened: Dec 13, 2018
Severity: 5-Cosmetic

Symptoms

Configuring the source-address persistence/destination-address persistence profile with prefix length 'None' will result in '0.0.0.0' mask and unexpected persistence record.

Impact

Wrong mask "0.0.0.0" (correct value is "::") is silently applied on source-address persistence profile. This can result in wrong persistence record values.

Conditions

From GUI, Configure source-address persistence/destination-address persistence profile with prefix length 'None' will cause this issue.

Workaround

Use CLI. Or on GUI, explicitly set "IPv6 mask length 0" while configuring "Prefix Length"
