Symptoms

Issues in the HSB may cause packet data to fail CRC (TCP checksums). This can be confirmed by observing the CRC error rate reported by the HSB, along with confirming that the packet data was correct when it arrived at the BIG-IP system by using a tcpdump capture. This issue persists until the HSB is rebooted, which appears to clear the condition.

Impact

Incoming packets are dropped.

Conditions

Network traffic is received by the BIG-IP system. It is unknown what causes the issue in the HSB.

Workaround

Reboot to clear the state of the HSB.
