Symptoms

The BIG-IP Devices page may fail to display data under certain circumstances, such as when you use the dropdown menu at the upper-left corner of the page to select a Device Group.

Impact

BIG-IP Devices page may not show the list of BIG-IP devices.

Conditions

On BIG-IQ Devices that have discovered a large number of BIG-IP devices and/or have large numbers of custom Device Groups. Note: There is no way to predict what the numbers might be because the values vary by environment. One BIG-IP system with 100 devices configured in 10 or more device groups might show no impact if there is no traffic, but even if fewer devices are discovered, if each device has a lot of activity, the load on the BIG-IQ might lead to latency.

Workaround

To view grouped devices: 1. Navigate to the Device Groups page. 2. Click the link for the Device Group. The page for that Device Group lists all of the BIG-IP Devices it contains.
