Symptoms

Error during config save: Unexpected Error: UCS saving process failed.

Impact

The save operation fails with the following error: Saving active configuration... /var/tmp/configsync.spec: Error creating package WARNING:There are error(s) during saving. Not everything was saved. Be very careful when using this saved file! Error creating package Error during config save. Unexpected Error: UCS saving process failed.

Conditions

-- Unused EPSEC files files exist in: /config/filestore/files_d/Common_d/epsec_package_d/ -- Try to save UCS file using passphrase. -- Issue the command: tmsh save /sys ucs /var/tmp/MyUCS.ucs passphrase password

Workaround

Delete unused EPSEC files, UCS gets saved successfully.
