Logrotate may fail after downgrading the BIG-IP system to an older version. Manually forcing logrotate to run results in errors similar to: # logrotate -f /etc/logrotate.conf error: stat of /var/log/boot.log failed: Permission denied error: stat of /var/log/platform_check failed: Permission denied error: stat of /var/log/tomcat/catalina.out failed: Permission denied
Logs no longer rotate properly.
Downgrading to an older version of BIG-IP (pre-14.1.0) from a newer version (14.1.0 and later).
After downgrading, force an SELinux relabel operation: Important: This procedure reboots the BIG-IP system. Commands need to relabel SELinux: 1. touch /.autorelabel 2. reboot
