When editing an ASM policy, you cannot disable 'Check Message Payload' when 'JSON' or 'Plain Text' is enabled (during the edit).
When trying to save changes after editing the ASM policy, BIG-IQ returns the following error: Sample error message: "jsonProfileReference(or plainTextProfileReference ) should be null"
1. Navigate to Configuration >> Security >> Web Application Security >> Policies 2. Click on the one of Allowed WebSocket URL hyperlink from the list of WebSocket URLs list 3. Uncheck "Check Message Payload" 4. Click Save
Perform the following steps during editing to disable 'Check Message Payload' 1. Enable 'Binary' 2. Disable 'JSON' 3. Disable 'Check Message Payload' 4. Click Save
