Symptoms

When a bandwidth control policy is applied on a virtual server, the BIG-IP system does not retransmit unacknowledged data segments, even when the BIG-IP system receives a duplicate ACK. Both static bandwidth control policies and dynamic bandwidth control policies can cause the problem.

Impact

The BIG-IP system does not retransmit unacknowledged data segments.

Conditions

This issue occurs when both of the following conditions are met: -- Virtual server configured with a bandwidth control policy. -- Standard type of virtual server.
