When a BIG-IP system is rebooted, it sends a small number of trap notifications to all destinations, even if 'sys snmp bigip-traps' is set to disabled.
Traps are sent to trap destinations after reboot.
1. SNMP trap destinations are configured. 2. The variable 'sys snmp bigip-traps' is set to disabled. 3. Reboot of BIG-IP system.
Remove the trap destinations. You need to add them back only when you are ready to have BIG-IP SNMP traps enabled.
