Symptoms

When creating a user-defined signature using the 'Regexp Match' option, the signature is not detected.

Impact

Signature is not detected correctly.

Conditions

-- Bot Defense Profile is attached to virtual server. -- Creating a User Define Bot Signature, using the '"Regexp Match' option.

Workaround

Use 'Advanced Mode', and write the rule manually. Note: Make sure to leave 'contains' in both options of the simple mode.
