Bug ID 899789: Viewing BIG-IQ application dashboard after changes to a legacy application service is redeployed to a BIG-IP cluster

Last Modified: Sep 13, 2023

Affected Product(s):
BIG-IQ Applications(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
7.0.0.1, 7.0.0.2, 7.1.0, 8.0.0, 8.0.0.1

Fixed In:
7.1.0.1, 7.1.0.1

Opened: Apr 16, 2020

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

After you make a change to a legacy application service and redeploy it to a BIG-IP cluster, the user assigned to the custom application manager role does not see those changes on the BIG-IQ application dashboard.

Impact

Users assigned to the custom application manager role associated with the legacy application service can't see updates to legacy applications that have had virtual server and pools modified and won't be able to perform operations such as enable/disable/force offline. The UI displays the error message: "Please add at least one pool first".

Conditions

Update pool members or virtual servers that belong to a legacy application service and redeploy to a BIG-IP cluster.

Workaround

1. Log in as admin and delete the legacy application service. 2. Re-create the application and re-assign the custom application manager role to the user.

Fix Information

This issue is fixed.
