Symptoms

When you upgrade to version 7.1, BIG-IQ overwrites the new restjavad.properties.json file with the previous .json file saved in the UCS.

Impact

The .json file won't have all the updates to properties such as global, AWS, or Azure. There is no impact on functionality.

Conditions

-- The restjavad.properties.json file is included in the UCS archive, which is the default behavior. -- You upgrade the BIG-IQ to a version that has a newer default version of the restjavad.properties.json file.

Workaround

You can still customize the restjavad.properties.json file Refer to https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K05919542 to find out more about how to customize restjavad.properties file.
