Deploying an Access policy containing orphaned policy items to a BIG-IP device might fail with the following error: "Critical Error: The access policy ("access-policy") has an item ("orphaned-policy-item") which is not referenced by any policy rule."
You cannot deploy access policies with orphaned policy items.
This error can happen if you: 1) Create an Access policy with a branch rule such as "URL Branching". 2) Add another item to that branch. 3) Delete the branch rule in "URL Branching". 4) Deploy the Access policy to a BIG-IP device.

This issue is now fixed and you can now deploy Access policies with orphaned objects.
