Symptoms

A device reboot occurs when pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Impact

Accidental reboots are possible. You should not reboot VE using Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Conditions

This occurs when pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del or sending the command to a BIG-IP Virtual Edition (VE) virtual console.

Workaround

To disallow the effect of this key chord, run the following command from the advanced shell (bash): systemctl mask ctrl-alt-del.target
