Symptoms

After a BIG-IP system reboots, dhclient overwrites the configured domain-name-servers and domain-name settings. This occurs even when 'request-options' is configured to not request domain-name-servers and domain-name from dhclient.

Impact

You are unable to override the 'domain-name-servers' and 'domain-name' settings when DHCP is enabled on the management interface.

Conditions

This is encountered after rebooting a BIG-IP system with DHCP enabled on the management interface.
