Symptoms

After rebooting the active BIG-IQ in a high availability configuration, the active BIG-IQ displays the standby BIG-IQ as unhealthy (red).

Impact

BIG-IQ does not automatically re-establish high availability (HA) following a reboot.

Workaround

To resolve this issue, login to bash on the actie BIG-IQ and type the following command: /usr/bin/ha_set_firewall <pri_discovery> <sec_discovery> NOTE: This will resolve the issue until the next reboot.
