Last Modified: Dec 07, 2023

Affected Product(s):
F5OS Velos(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
F5OS-C 1.1.0, F5OS-C 1.1.1, F5OS-C 1.1.2, F5OS-C 1.1.3, F5OS-C 1.1.4

Opened: Feb 05, 2021

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

When the admin removes nodes from tenant configuration and upgrades the system controller software, the tenant status comes up with an error state.

Impact

This has no effect on system functionality. The system is simply reporting an incorrect state of the tenant.

Conditions

Admin removes nodes from the tenant configuration using either of the following commands: no tenants tenant <name> config nodes tenants tenant <name> config nodes [ ]

Workaround

To process any traffic through the tenant, you must have a minimum of one node in the tenant config, for example: show running-config tenants tenant <name> config nodes tenants tenant example1 config nodes [ 1 ] !
